Second-Year Student Turns Curiosity Into Systems That Scale

A backend-minded builder — now setting his sights on cybersecurity.

Rjav has little patience for buzzwords. He'd rather spend an evening reading source code, tracing requests through a backend, or rebuilding a feature from scratch than chasing whatever framework is trending this month. Around him, complexity has to earn its place, and every system is expected to justify itself.

Officially, he's a second-year Computer Science student. In practice, most of his education happens long after lectures end. The terminal is less of a tool and more of a playground—where curiosity routinely turns a quick experiment into hours of learning how software really works beneath the surface.

Ask what he enjoys building and the conversation quickly leaves landing pages behind. His interest lies intyped APIs, clean architectures, and dependable backends— software that stays understandable months later, survives real traffic, and can be maintained without becoming someone else's nightmare at three in the morning.

That philosophy carries into every project. Even something as ordinary as a contact form is treated asa real production system, with validation, clear data models, and room to grow rather than shortcuts that need replacing later. For him, the backend isn't supporting the portfolio—it's part of the portfolio.

Recently, his attention has shifted towardAI, backend engineering, and cybersecurity. Building reliable software is only half the challenge; understanding how systems fail, how they can be exploited, and how to make them resilient is what keeps him interested. Reading code for what it does is one skill. Reading it for what it accidentally allows is another.

The portfolio reflects the same mindset. Bold typography, restrained motion, and a deliberate lack of clutter are choices, not decoration.Design is proof, not decoration. Every animation, every API, and every interaction is expected to earn its place. Off the clock, chances are he's back in the Linux terminal—or already building the next idea that seemed too interesting to ignore.
